The past week I’ve been in contact with a number of reviewers, some of which will be reviewing The Book of Songs. There’s quite a bit of spread in the time they’re taking to review the book, so instead of writing the dates here I’ll keep you posted as the reviews show up.

If you are or know a book reviewer, especially one with an interest in fantasy books, feel free to contact me using this form.

Queer Books for Teens

The Book of Songs has been added to a database called Queer Books for Teens. If you haven’t heard of the site before, check it out.

I think this is a great initiative, since LGBTQ+ teens often feel isolated and have a hard time finding representation in mainstream media. Thankfully, that’s slowly getting better, but it’s still hard for teens to find stories where they are represented.

Authors can ask for their books to be added, so if you’re the author of a LGBTQ+ book, feel free to contact them and see if they want to add your book to the database. The more comprehensive it gets, the better.

I’m currently looking into the possibility of adding a paperback version of The Book of Songs to Amazon. A proof copy is travelling its way to me as we speak, but we’ll have to see if the quality is good enough to make up for the cost.

Would you guys be interested in a paperback version? Please let me know so that I can gauge your interest correctly.

Have a good one!

After much delay, the time has finally come. The Book of Songs has just been put in review on Amazon and will be available for purchase within 72 hours!

I still can’t believe it’s true, that the book I have been struggling to translate for over a year actually is going to be available as an e-book. A lot of people have been involved with the production of this book (especially if you count everyone that’s been subjected to my complaints) and I owe you all a huge thank you. This hadn’t been possible without you guys.

So now the waiting begins. I’ll let you know when the book is available for purchase, and if you have any questions just ask. Now, I think I’ll go make a cake to celebrate.

Sorry about the long silence, there are no excuses good enough for why I haven’t kept you guys updated.

I have good news to share with you. Recently I received a tip from a friend who got me in contact with a proofreader. This will allow me to produce an even better text, and if all goes to plan The Book of Songs will be available for purchase at the beginning of next year.

If you have any questions you’re welcome to ask them in the comments. I’ll respond as quickly as I can.

Bouncing back

As some of you might’ve already seen, the Kickstarter wasn’t a success. But don’t worry, we have a Plan B.

The Book of Songs will definitely be released as an e-book, no matter what happens. It might take a bit longer to acquire the funds, but The Book of Songs will get an English edition. I hope to be able to make it a print on demand novel as well, but we’ll have to wait and see if that’ll be possible.

This post is mostly meant as an update so that no one is left wondering what’s going to happen with The Book of Songs and the rest of The Weaver Trilogy. If you have any questions you’re highly encouraged to send us a comment.

Thank you for all of your support this far!
